Based in the Triangle area, this company offers vibrant hand dyed clothing for everyone in the family. We have sizes available for newborns to plus sized adults all made from cotton and rayon.The garments have been tie dyed using various tie dye folds and ties, hand dipping and shibori (an ancient Japanese form of dyeing.) All garments have been pre-washed to prevent bleeding.
We started tie dying in 1986 with our neighborhood swim team. We continued the tradition as Milly teaches her 6th graders to tie dye each year in science class. Each year since we have learned new tie dye techniques. We love to tie dye so we decided to start our own business. Every Wildside Tie Dye item has been created by hand with love. As our business grows, we hope to bring this art form to folks all around through the internet and at festivals in North Carolina and the east coast.
